    fading, fraying, snags, stains, moth damage!!

    Original “New Old Stock” ALL-

    Field (“Campaign”) Hat
    was worn for all field exercises until 1945. (
    NOTE:
    This is NOT one of the manycurrent, inexpensive
    RAYON
    reproductions with the undifferentiated ACORNS!)
    - Distinctively woven
    SOLID BLACK Acorn "Cap"
    and
    STRIPED BLACK AND SILVER Acorn "Body," Adjustement Knot,  and Cord.
    - At graduation the newly commissioned Officer removed this
    Corps of Cadets HAT CORD
    and replaced it with a
    Gold Bullion and Black Silk OFFICER’s CORD. At the time that these were worn by the Corps of Cadets, this same HAT CORD was worn by WARRANT OFFICERS.
