    American Legion Overseas Hat Insignia
    .  The embroidered and bullion on wool Chaplain designation is appropriate for the
    Legion or Legion Auxiliary
    .  It is boldly embroidered and framed with gold bullion.  It was removed from an Overseas style Legion Cap.   I would ballpark it is post both World Wars.  The Legion Auxiliary Medal is in fair to fair plus condition.
