Vintage BAMBI Ceramic Figurine 1940s Walt Disney, Evan K Shaw American Pottery Collectible Disney Character
This is a Beautiful Large Ceramic Figurine of the Beloved Fawn Bambi from the 1942 Walt Disney Animated Film of the same name.
This wonderful ceramic figurine was made by Evan K. Shaw "American Pottery Co."(company went out of business in the late 40s)
and is a rare, highly sought-after collectible piece. Bambi is looking back over his right shoulder at a frisky blue butterfly who's
landed on his tail. This figurine stands almost 8" inches tall to the tip of his ear and is about 6 1/2" wide.

.00 due to its not the greatest condition. Mint condition pieces like this go for 0 to 0.00 dollars. This vintage collectible
piece is NOT in pristine condition. It has a completely cracked neck and glued as shown. Also has a chip on left ear as shown
and right leg appears to have been cracked and glued. Also small chip on back right leg. Butterfly has a small chip as shown.
Please see pictures 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 that contain the above imperfections as stated, the cracks and chip.
It does have very light signs of some crazing in the ceramic but is in beautiful condition for being from the 40s. There is
a factory 'hole' in the belly and no original stamp. The American Pottery Co was based in L.A. California and produced
figurines for Walt Disney in the early 40s. The American Pottery Factory burned down in 1946 and Mr. Shaw went on to head up
the Metlox Pottery Co. All items in my shop are vintage or repurposed! They are carefully selected but will have beautiful imperfections
