    From what I have researched, these wings are pre-WWII...the solid anchor was converted to a pierced one in 1922 and these wings were smoother than the later variations....there is a maker's mark on the back...pin back....measures 2 5/8" unlike the standard 2 3/4" wings that were seen later... believed to be a gold and silver combination...unusual
