Description

Here is a pair of extremely rare McIntosh Baby Macs. These are 15 watts of crystal clear tube goodness.
My tech's notes:
Eclair Engineering Baby Mac amps
These amplifiers are all based on the McIntosh 20W2 amplifier chassis.  They have been modified to use a pair of 2A3 output tubes.  To accomplish this the original 20w2 chassis has been mounted to another longer chassis which accommodates a pair of 2A3 tubes and their associated circuitry.  Each amplifier has an Eclair Engineering sticker and is given a serial number.
Amp #1
This amplifier is in working condition.  No hum or noise was noted.
This amplifier has a very high build quality.  Premium parts were used throughout.  The input is balanced via an XLR jack.  Impedance is either 4 or 8 ohms and is selected via a switch.  The output power is estimated at 20 watts.
