    Description

Incredibly rare 1920 to 1924 Canadian Air Force pilot's wings and dark blue/black uniform tunic. The Canadian Air Force (CAF), was formed on May 17, 1920, was one of Canada's early attempts at forming an air force. The CAF would only exist until 1924 when the prefix "Royal" was added, and the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) was officially created.
By 1923, just before it went out of existence, the CAF had only 45 officers making their uniform tunics, wings, and insignia very nearly impossible to come by.
Blue surge, fully lined with all its buckles, buttons, insignia, rank and the very, very rare pilot's wings.
19 inches underarm to underarm, 24 inches collar to hem, 24 inches shoulder to cuff.
