    Description

Here is a very neat military item. This is the Army Pictorial Section of The Come-Back. The Come-Back was a newspaper produced by patients for patients, during and immediately after World War I, at the Walter Reed Hospital. The first edition was December 1918. This is Vol 1 #33. This has a cover illustration by Barton Matteson (Lieutenant USA). He also produced WWI posters for the medical divisions. This has articles on a bird’s eye view of the Army, Army Chiefs, Athletics and Recreation, General Peyton March, The Veterinary Corps, The Hospital Train, National Soldiers Home, House & Senate Military Committee members, and more. 9” x 12” and 30 pages. Mild general wear. Scarce!
