Italian M33 helmet with original Artillery stencil . Spanish Civil War 1936-39.

Description

Spanish Civil War used Italian M33 helmet. Manufactured and issued 1936-1939. Helmet was used in the Spanish Civil War 1936-1939 by Italian fascist  troops who supported Franco.
An original stencil insignia is on the front of the helmet for divisional artillery (which was used from 1934 through 1942). This is an extremely scarce helmet which saw service during the Civil War in Spain.
Outside paint is the original Italian factory light green and has scattered remains of Spanish brown. Inside is the same.
No dents, no cracks. Has very minor, pencil thin, segmented stack mark on the upper front dome. Control number on inside back rim is "P69".
Liner is brown leather and is size 58. Leather is fair to good. Several areas of leather cracking on back rim and a little on front rim. Leather is solid.  C
hinstraps are very good and are original Italian issue.  Dome cord is broken and was at one time a field replacement.
