    Description

    Set of insignia for the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor, period of the Third Republic.
    The set is in very good condition and dates from 1930-1940. The badge is silver gilt and has the usual French hallmark on the reverse side of the lowest point on the wreath. The silver star has the usual French hallmark on the pin catch and shows the toning typical of this decoration.
