    Description

    We were CJ dealers when these Sonographe pieces were new and we respect them highly for their engineering, parts quality and build quality. This Sonographe preamp is a stellar performer that many have written about; It is true that the SC-1 can hold its own against considerably more expensive preamplifiers, both in line stage and in photo section and is very compatible with most tube or ss amps.
    It is dead quiet with an absolute black background, a wide soundstage that’s extremely deep. The SC1 has a wonderful phono section that easily runs most med and higher output cartridges along with mm carts. This SC1 is super quiet, stock original condition and is up to spec and fully tested with a variety of amps into very critical speakers in a nicely tuned room.
    Electronically and cosmetically this Conrad Johnson Sonographe preamplifier is in Excellent condition with a few minor signs of use. Your satisfaction is guaranteed and this preamp is in its original box and will be double boxed for safety, very well packed.

    Only the Sonographe preamp is included in this listing as for sale. The pieces in the background are also for sale, however regarding the Mackit 30s with chrome logo, I have 6 of the 12 made. The rest (approx 750) had white silk screened Mackit30 logos. We were McIntosh dealers and regularly visited Binghamton and our friends.
    Only serious inquiries on the McIntosh Kit tube collection. it took 40 years to acquire half of them. Thank you.
