    This listing is for a Lot of 5 piece Memorabilia Collection From Col. Daniel P. Card (1878-1957, ex-US army physician) as pictured.

    In brief, Col Card was a retired Colonel in the United States Army Military Corps, having died in 1957 after a long and distinguished career as per the items below. He received his medical degree from Bellevue Medical College in 1904; he was a contract surgeon with the US Army, a surgeon for the West Point Football Squad, a medical- military observer in the French Forces in France, attaché to the French Army in Paris, and a commanding officer at a field hospital during the Meuse Argonne campaign after the war.
    Set includes:
    1) framed photo of the Col. - approximately 13 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches framed.
    2) a metal desk name plate - approximately 8 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches.
    3) an engraved silver plated serving tray - approximately 29 x 18 3/4 inches.
    4) a framed institutional medal from the Italian government dated 1921, hand signed by Luigi Gasparotto, Senator of Law Member of Parliament - approximately 20 1/4 x 14 3/8 inches framed.
    5) and, a framed Medal of Honor from France dated 1919 - approximately 20 7/8 x 15 1/8 inches framed.
    Condition: wear and tear due to age as pictured. Tray needs cleaning. Sold as preowned and as pictured. The pictures are part of the description, what you see is what you get. Since we are not experts in authenticating this listing by any means, please inspect the pictures and be the judge.
